PERMANENT RESIDENCE IN ANTIGUA

• Recent changes in the Immigration and Passport Act and Income Tax Act allow for individuals to obtain permanent residence if they meet the following criteria:
• Payment of an annual immigration levy of at least US$20,000.00 to obtain a Permanent Residence Certificate • The purchase or leasing of property within Antigua Actual physical presence in Antigua for a minimum of 30 days in total per year

Permanent Residence Certificate
A Permanent Resident Certificate will be issued yearly to approve individuals who pay an annual levy of $20,000 USD to become permanent residents of the island.

Application Requirements
• Bank Reference • Accountant's Certificate • Two (2) character references • Approval is granted by the Cabinet which will
determine the amount of annual levy to be paid for
the Residence Certificate. |
Each application for Permanent Residence should be made through a representative in Antigua and must contain the following documents:
Tax Exemptions
The benefit of this plan is that the permanent resident is tax exempt from the following:
• Personal Income Tax
• Capital Gains Tax
• Wealth Tax
• Inheritance Tax |
